Small Groups

"Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose." – Philippians 2:2

We believe that being a part of a small group is an important part of building community within the body of Christ.  Our small groups meet on our church campus on Sunday mornings from 8:45 to 9:45am before our corporate worship service for the purpose of studying the truths of God's Word together.  Everyone is encouraged to plug into one of these Sunday morning small groups.

College (18-Mid 20s)  –  led by Pastor Joshua Babb  –  Upstairs Bldg. B

Are you in college or college-age, and looking for a place to belong?  Whether you are a local or visiting on the weekend, we invite you to join us, learning to love the Lord and living life for His glory while in college.

Singles LIFE (22-35)  –  led by Pastor Bob Metcalf  –  Room A138

A Bible study for singles in their first decade after college – typically ages 22-35. LIFE stands for "Living In Freedom Everyday" because we regularly draw attention to how the gospel of Jesus frees us from sin to walk in His power daily.

Newly Married (20s-30s)  –  led by Luke Colley  –  Room A238

Join couples who are engaged to be married, newly married, or young married families. We focus on establishing mature relationships with Christ and with one another as we begin lifelong journeys.

Young Married (20s-30s)  –  Pastor Jim Daniel  –  Room A239

Join couples who have been married for several years, including families with young children. We focus on Gospel-centered teaching, strengthening our relationship with Christ and fellowship with one another.

Family Life (30s-40s)  –  led by Ryan Roughley  –  Room A222

Join young families with elementary age kids, who desire to build each other up through Gospel-centered studies, and support each other through prayer, weekly connection, and a fun monthly gathering.

Encounter (40s-50s)  –  led by Brent Fleshman  –  Room A240

Join a group of multi-life stage adults as we study different books of the Bible and different topics from the Bible. Have part in encouraging fellow Christians as we encounter Christ in our daily lives.

Moms Connect  –  led by Lisa Baxley  –  Room A227

Moms meet to study the Bible, find encouragement for this season of life, and connect with other moms. Moms are welcome to join in each week for specific study. We will be challenged to become a godly mom.

Harmony Ladies  –  led by Beverly Shaddy, Sherri Webb  –  Room A140

A happy collection of married, divorced, and widowed senior adult ladies, who study the Bible with one another, encourage one another, support one another, and serve one another and the church family.

The Gospel Project  –  led by Von Johnston  –  Room A100

The Bible is not just a collection of stories. It is the story of God’s plan to rescue His people. It is the story of redemption, and it’s our story, too. Dive deeply into God’s story through The Gospel Project.

Gospels: A Jewish Perspective  –  led by Gary Burney  –  Worship Center

Class members will learn more about interpretation of scripture by looking through the Jewish eyes of the people in Jesus’ time. We will be specifically looking at the gospel accounts of what Jesus did, what He said, and what He meant.

Total Depravity and God's Response To It  –  led by Jim Bradford  –  Room A231

Romans is often categorized as the book the majority of Christians would choose if they were stranded on a desert island and could only have one book of the Bible with them.  Commenters call it Paul's "masterpiece" as it deals with almost all the major theological doctrines.  But most of all, it makes clear we're saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.  Come study this wonderful book using a combination lecture/discussion.  This study will cover Romans 1-8.
