AWANA

Awana is a Bible-centered children's ministry that meets Wednesday evenings, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., in our Education Building, during the school year. It is for Kindergartners through Sixth Graders. Our goal is to reach children, and their families, with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. The acronym Awana comes from the first letters of Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15.

Awana club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for kids. Club meetings are divided into three segments:
  • Council Time: Worship, the gospel message and award presentations.
  • Hand Book Time: Small-group prayer and work on scripture memorization from books.
  • Game Time: Age-appropriate games on the Awana game circle.
Each segment lasts for thirty minutes, and the different age divisions rotate between each segment.

For further information please call the church office or e-mail our Awana Cordinator, Don Crowley.
